    Standalone system
Works according to its own rules; can report statuses without depending on other systems.
    Integration possible
Exchanges commonly implemented, depending on the chosen equipment and architecture.
    Interface to validate
Depends on manufacturers, vendors, versions and licences: verified before being proposed.

    The connected room

TV, guest content, comfort and access: the room brings together several systems that must stay simple for guests and clear for the operator.

    Systems involved

    • In-room Wi-Fi and networkIntegration possible
    • Hotel IPTVIntegration possible
    • Casting and personal content streamingIntegration possible
    • GRMS: air conditioning, presence, scenariosIntegration possible
    • Lighting and mood scenariosIntegration possible
    • Electronic door lockInterface to validate
    • Exchanges with the PMSInterface to validate

    Interactions to organise

    • The room status sent by the PMS can prepare comfort settings and the on-screen welcome, when the interfaces are planned and authorised.
    • Casting isolates each guest’s devices on the network: a guest only sees the TV in their own room.
    • Links between the door lock, presence detection and room scenarios depend on the compatibility of the chosen equipment.

    The guest journey

From arrival to departure, guests expect a simple connection, useful information and access that works effortlessly.

    Systems involved

    • Guest Internet access and captive portalIntegration possible
    • Digital services for guestsIntegration possible
    • Access to rooms and restricted areasInterface to validate
    • Room comfort on arrivalIntegration possible
    • Information on screens and TVIntegration possible

    Interactions to organise

    • A consistent connection from the lobby to the room, depending on the portal and network architecture chosen.
    • Information aligned across digital signage, TV and portal, to avoid contradictory messages.

    Public areas

Lobby, restaurants, pool, circulation areas: busy spaces where guest services and property security meet.

    Systems involved

    • CCTVStandalone system
    • Multi-zone public address and background musicIntegration possible
    • Digital signageIntegration possible
    • Access control for public and technical areasStandalone system
    • Perimeter protection, depending on the projectStandalone system

    Interactions to organise

    • On a fire alarm, muting background music is an interlock defined and tested with the fire safety package.
    • CCTV and access control run on networks separate from guest-facing services.

    Meetings and events

Meeting rooms, function rooms and events need equipment that is easy to use and connectivity sized for temporary audiences.

    Systems involved

    • Room audiovisual: displays, projection, presentationIntegration possible
    • Sound reinforcement and conference systemsIntegration possible
    • Simultaneous interpretation, depending on the projectStandalone system
    • Dedicated event connectivityIntegration possible
    • Room and programme signageIntegration possible

    Interactions to organise

    • A network sized for connection peaks during events, separate from in-room guest traffic.
    • Room controls that banqueting teams can use without technical support for every event.

    Technical operations

Engineering and management teams need a reliable view of installations: statuses, alarms, consumption and interventions.

    Systems involved

    • BMS and BAS, depending on the building’s scopeIntegration possible
    • Supervision of technical equipmentIntegration possible
    • Supervision of the GRMS and guest roomsIntegration possible
    • Lighting management and automationIntegration possible
    • Metering and consumption monitoringIntegration possible
    • Fire safetyStandalone system

    Interactions to organise

    • Other packages’ equipment (air conditioning, hot water production) is supervised according to its protocols and documentation.
    • The fire safety system reports statuses to supervision without depending on it.
    • Consumption monitoring supports operational decisions; no saving is announced without measurement.

    Why ICT VALUE

An integrator that coordinates technologies, not just an equipment supplier.

Our value lies in our command of architectures, interfaces and execution: designing, coordinating, deploying, testing and commissioning several interdependent systems.

    1. Hands-on hotel experience

The constraints of a property — guests, staff, operator standards, opening schedule — shape our choices from the design stage.

    2. A cross-disciplinary approach

IT, electrical power, ELV and automation studied together, so that systems share a coherent infrastructure.

    3. Coordinated interfaces

Between systems and between manufacturers: each exchange is described, assigned to a contractor, then tested.

    4. Continuity from design to commissioning

The same teams follow the project through design, installation, configuration and testing, within our fields of expertise.

    5. Trained teams

Our teams train on the technologies we deploy; qualifications are specified for each project.

    6. Renovation of open hotels

Phasing by floor or zone, site constraints, service continuity: know-how in hotel renovation.

    7. Through to acceptance

Testing, inspections, technical documentation and team support through to commissioning.

ICT VALUE’s role — design, integration, installation, joint contracting or maintenance — is specified in each proposal and for each reference.

    How it works

A coordination example, step by step.

Illustrative example — not a client case

When a guest arrives, the change in room status can trigger certain compatible functions. This scenario illustrates the principle; it always depends on the systems, versions, licences and authorised interfaces.

    1. Front desk · PMS

      The guest checks in

The arrival is recorded in the hotel’s property management system (PMS).

    2. Interface

      The information is sent

If an interface is planned and authorised, the “room assigned” status is sent to the systems concerned.

    3. Room · GRMS

      The room gets ready

The room can switch from economy mode to welcome mode: temperature setpoint, arrival lighting.

    4. Room · IPTV

      The welcome appears

The TV can display a welcome message and the hotel’s services, depending on the chosen solution.

    5. Operations · BMS

      Teams follow up

Teams see the room status and technical alarms in the planned supervision system.

    Project situations

New build, renovation or a hotel in operation.

    1. New build

Choices are made at the design stage: network architecture, technical rooms, power supply for racks and equipment, interfaces between packages. It is the best moment to prepare operations.

    2. Renovation

Existing installations guide the decisions: survey, possible reuse of cabling or equipment, compatibility with retained systems.

    3. Modernisation in operation

Works are organised with the hotel: phasing by floor or groups of rooms, working windows, continuity of guest services.

In an open property, possible interruptions are analysed and scheduled with your teams before the works.

    Experience

Assignments of different kinds, always clearly defined.

Our hospitality references cover properties of Moroccan and international brands. We present them during our discussions, with ICT VALUE’s exact role in each project.

    Frequently asked questions

Your questions about a hotel project.

Can you handle several systems on the same project?

Yes. We can design, coordinate and deliver several technical packages, or work on a single system while organising its links with the others. The scope and responsibilities are set out in our proposal.

Can you work in an operating hotel?

Yes, after agreeing phasing, areas and working windows with your teams. Possible interruptions are analysed and scheduled; they cannot always be avoided.

Can the GRMS and door locks be connected to the PMS?

With some systems, yes, depending on their versions, licences and the authorisations of vendors and manufacturers. We verify each interface before proposing it.

Do you take brand standards into account?

Yes. The operator’s or brand’s requirements are checked for the project and the equipment concerned, with the operator.

    Do you maintain the installations?

Maintenance and support are defined according to the equipment, the site and the contract. We specify their content with you.
