Expertise 01 · IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
IT infrastructure suited to your operational needs and operating constraints.
Cabling, wired and Wi-Fi networks, interconnections, firewalls and segmentation: we design and deploy the foundation that connects your users, your applications and your building’s technical equipment, with its future operation in mind.
Area 01
- Cabling and links
- Networks and Wi-Fi
- Access security
- Systems
Main interfaces
Electrical power · ELV systems · BMS and GRMS · Hospitality technology · Microsoft 365
Challenges
A network is judged by what it makes possible every day.
Coverage matched to real-world needs
A Wi-Fi network is sized according to spaces, user density and applications, not floor area alone. The coverage survey comes before choosing and positioning the access points.
Separated traffic, controlled access
Guests, staff, administration and technical equipment have neither the same needs nor the same rights. Segmentation and filtering organise these flows and limit the spread of an incident.
Availability that is designed and verified
Service continuity results from architecture, power supply and paths designed together, then verified by testing. It is not achieved simply by adding redundant equipment.
Scope
What we design and deploy.
We work on a specific need or on the entire infrastructure. The scope of each assignment is defined with you during the scoping phase.
Cabling and links
- Structured copper and fibre-optic cabling
- Racks, patch panels and labelling
- Links between floors and between buildings
- Link measurement and validation
Networks and Wi-Fi
- Local area network and switching
- Indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi, coverage survey
- IP addressing plan and virtual networks (VLANs)
- Network supporting IP telephony and unified communications
- Connectivity for connected devices (IoT), depending on the project
- Site interconnection, depending on scope
Access security
- Firewalls and traffic filtering
- Separation of guest, administrative and technical networks
- Controlled remote access for administration
- Documented access rules
Systems
- Servers and virtualisation, depending on scope
- Backup, monitoring and continuity, at the level defined during scoping
Scope conditions
- Networks for security and automation systems are handled according to their own requirements, in coordination with the relevant areas of expertise.
- Backup, monitoring and continuity are offered at the level actually scoped for your project.
- Penetration testing and round-the-clock security monitoring are specialist services that are not included in this offer.
Interfaces
The network connects systems that are not all IT.
From the design stage, we identify the exchanges with other packages and each party’s responsibilities.
Electrical power and infrastructure
Power supply for racks, switches and access points; protection and power continuity in technical rooms.
ELV and security systems
Networks supporting CCTV, access control and telephony: separation, capacity and device power to be defined together.
BMS and GRMS
BMS network: addressing, isolation and access for maintenance contractors.
Hospitality technology
Guest network, captive portal, IPTV and casting rely on the property’s infrastructure.
Microsoft 365 and IT services
Access to Microsoft 365 services: bandwidth, filtering and user identities.
How we work
From the existing installation to a documented infrastructure.
Survey of existing installations and needs
Site visit, inventory of equipment and cabling, building constraints and priorities.
Architecture and sizing
Topology, segmentation, Wi-Fi coverage and reasoned equipment choices.
Deployment and configuration
Cabling, installation and configuration by our teams within their fields, in coordination with the other packages.
Testing and validation
Link measurements, coverage checks and verification of access rules.
Documentation and handover
Diagrams, addressing plan and rules handed over to your teams or your operations provider.
Deliverables
Example deliverables
Deliverables are defined in each proposal, according to the assignment. Structured cabling is measured with a cable certifier (Fluke DSX-8000), according to the applicable standard and test configuration.

Frequently asked questions
IT infrastructure: your questions.
Can you take over an existing network?
Yes. We start with a survey: equipment, cabling, configuration and identified weaknesses. Our recommendations distinguish what can be kept from what needs to change.
Do you carry out a Wi-Fi coverage survey before installation?
That is the approach we recommend. Depending on the project, the survey is based on plans and intended use, then on on-site measurements when the building allows it.
Do you offer cybersecurity services?
Our work covers infrastructure security: segmentation, filtering, access rules and administration. Penetration testing and continuous monitoring are specialist services that we do not present as included.
Which equipment do you install?
Equipment is chosen according to operational needs, compatibility with existing installations and operating conditions. The proposed manufacturers are specified and justified in each study.
First conversation
Let’s discuss your infrastructure.
A few details are enough to prepare a useful first conversation.
- Type of site and number of floors or buildings
- Needs to cover: staff, visitors, equipment
- Existing equipment and cabling
- Project phase and deadline
