Expertise 04 · Extra-low voltage (ELV) and security
Coordinated communication, security and safety systems.
CCTV, access control, intercom, public address, telephony and fire safety: we integrate the systems specified for your project, respecting the function of each one and defining their interfaces.
Area 04
- Security
- Communications
- Fire safety
Main interfaces
IT and cybersecurity · Electrical power · BMS and GRMS · Hospitality technology
Challenges
Separate systems that must work together.
Each system in its place
Security, communications and fire safety meet different objectives and requirements. We handle them separately before organising how they interact.
Interfaces defined and tested
Door release, public address muting, alarm reporting: each planned interlock is described, validated with the parties involved, then tested.
Everyday operation
Control stations, access rights and procedures must remain clear for the teams who will use them after handover.
Scope
Three families of systems, handled according to their function.
The systems delivered depend on the assignment. Their functions and performance levels are set by each project’s specification.
Security
- CCTV
- Access control for public and technical areas
- Electronic locks and hotel access control
- Perimeter protection, depending on the project
- Control stations and operator rights
Communications
- Telephony
- Intercom and door entry
- Public address, background music and message broadcasting
- Nurse call, in healthcare facilities
Fire safety
- Fire safety systems, depending on scope
- Fire detection
- Safety actions and interlocks defined for the project
The fire safety system keeps its own functions and controls. The BMS can receive information from it without replacing it.
Scope conditions
- Functions, performance levels and interlocks are defined in each project’s specification.
- Applicable regulatory requirements and operator standards are identified project by project; we do not claim general compliance.
Interfaces
Exchanges described in a matrix, then tested.
Each interface has a sender, a receiver, an expected behaviour and an associated test.
IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
Dedicated or segmented networks for CCTV, access control and telephony; storage of recordings.
Electrical power and infrastructure
Power supply and backup for panels, cameras and communication equipment.
BMS and GRMS
Status and alarm reporting to the BMS, without transferring safety functions.
Hospitality technology
Guest room access control and hotel telephony, depending on the property’s systems.
How we work
System by system, then interface by interface.
Needs and constraints
Areas, people flows, operating hours and project requirements.
Layouts and architecture
Device positioning, system architecture and interface matrix.
Installation and configuration
Installation, connections and configuration, coordinated with the other packages.
Functional testing
System-by-system tests, then interface tests with the parties involved.
Handover
Operator training and delivery of operating documentation.
Deliverables
Example deliverables
Deliverables are defined in each proposal, according to the assignment.
- Device layout drawings
- Block and wiring diagrams
- Interface matrix
- Functional test reports
- Operating documentation
Sectors
Different needs and different audiences.
Hospitality
Access control, public address in common areas, telephony and fire safety in a building open to the public.

Frequently asked questions
ELV systems: your questions.
Can fire safety be controlled by the BMS?
No. The fire safety system keeps its own functions and controls. The BMS can receive certain statuses or alarms, as defined and validated in the project.
Can you take over an existing CCTV installation?
We first study what is in place: cameras, recorders, network and how the system is used. Depending on compatibility and condition, we propose to keep, extend or replace the equipment.
Who tests the interlocks?
Interface tests are prepared with all the parties involved. We write or complete the test plan for our scope and take part in the joint tests planned for the project.
Do you train the operating teams?
Training is provided according to the assignment: use of control stations, rights management and basic procedures, with the corresponding documentation.
First conversation
Let’s look at your security and communication systems.
Tell us about your project: we will identify the systems and interfaces to address.
