Our approach
From the initial need to a working installation.
We organise every assignment around the decisions that make your project real: understanding how the building is used, settling the technical choices, coordinating interfaces, testing, then handing over to your teams. The scope is defined with you, according to the systems involved and each party’s responsibilities.
Five steps
One method, five steps, deliverables at each one.
The same steps as on the home page, in detail: what we do, what you decide, what is produced.
Understand your need
Operational needs, site constraints, existing installations and priorities: we establish what will guide the solution. On an existing site, a visit and survey come before any proposal.
Deliverables
- Statement of needs
- Survey of the existing installation
- Priorities and constraints
Design and decide
We define the architecture, the interfaces and the technical choices, taking your budget and operating conditions into account. Options are compared on operational fit, compatibility and maintenance.
Deliverables
- Target architecture
- Design documents
- Interface matrix
Deploy and coordinate
We organise the delivery of our scope and the exchanges with the other parties on the project: coordination schedule, interface points, phasing in occupied buildings.
Deliverables
- Coordination schedule
- Hold and interface points
- Phasing
Test and hand over
We prepare the tests, documentation and training needed for acceptance and for using the installations.
Deliverables
- Test plan
- Test reports
- As-built file or technical documentation, depending on the assignment
Support operation
Support, maintenance and upgrades are defined according to your needs and the commitments of the assignment; no full managed service is implied.
Deliverables
- Knowledge transfer
- Maintenance or support contract, where needed
Ways of working
A clear role, stated in every assignment.
ICT VALUE can work on a specific assignment, integrate several systems or operate within a consortium. The actual role is explicit in every proposal and every reference.
Design office
IT, electrical and ELV design, specifications, bid analysis.
Owner representation
Decision support, scope framing, follow-up of the parties, depending on the assignment.
Integration and delivery
Design, installation, configuration and testing of several interdependent systems by our teams, within our areas of competence.
Coordination or joint contracting
Work packages delivered in a consortium with defined responsibilities; coordination of interfaces between packages.
Training and handover
Handover to operating teams, documentation, operator training.
Maintenance and support
Depending on the equipment, the site, the hours and the contract.
Maintenance is a service defined according to the equipment, the site, the hours and the contract; projects do not automatically include a full managed service.
Our teams
Technical expertise, from the design office to the site.
At ICT VALUE, architecture choices stay connected to how they are actually implemented. In the fields covered by in-house skills, our teams carry out the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of the solutions themselves. This continuity, from design to commissioning, makes technical coordination, interface control and the knowledge transfer needed for operation easier.
Manufacturer training, individual qualifications, deployment experience and measurement equipment support this approach. The skills and scope of each assignment are specified per project.
Automation and ELV systems
Dedicated lead for ELV systems, BMS and GRMS.
Hospitality technology
Dedicated hospitality technology specialist.
IT infrastructure and support
IT support team, including dedicated support at a corporate client.
Projects and sites
Project management, site supervisors and technicians.
Deliverables
What an assignment can produce.
This list is not a package: deliverables are defined in each proposal, according to the assignment.
- Statement of needs
- Target architecture
- Design documents
- Coordination schedule
- Interface matrix
- Test plan
- Test reports
- As-built file or technical documentation
- Knowledge transfer
Frequently asked questions
Your questions about how we work.
Can you work purely as consultants or owner’s representative, without works?
Yes. Consulting, design and owner representation are stand-alone assignments that can be commissioned without delivery. They can also precede an integration.
Who coordinates the interfaces between work packages?
It depends on how the project is set up. We describe the interfaces of our scope in a matrix, assign each exchange to a party and take part in the planned cross-tests.
Which documents do we receive at the end?
Depending on the contract: as-built drawings, diagrams, test reports, operating documentation and knowledge transfer. The list is set in the proposal.
Do you work with our existing contractors?
Yes. We coordinate the interfaces with the parties already in place and specify everyone’s responsibilities.
